■ Purpose
Migrant workers are not selling goods. Please don't regard them as simple labor-providers any more, look at them as a human being. Since all of us have the right to live as a human being, the undocumented migrant workers, in Korea, should surely be guaranteed their rights also. Moreover, the reason which made them over-stayed in Korea is due to the government's misled policy, so, its victims, the undocumented workers, must be rewarded. When Korea needed the labor for the industry, the authorities should have made reasonable programs in order to import foreign labors. However, the government did not prepare the proper ways to import industrial labors; instead, they led migrant workers up to work without taking legal steps, holding tourist visas or inviting visas. For instance, 'the training program' is the one of worse policies.
Because the migrant workers are human beings, when they come to Korea, it is natural to think over its successive matters; such as family, children, the relationship with their families in home country, the dwellings, their health, and the future, and so on. All of these aspects, we should look at those matters with right perspectives and positions as a human beings. A single country cannot solve the migrant workers matters. All migrant workers in the world and its supporting associations should tie all together. On top of this, to protect the migrant workers, "the international agreements for the protection of migrant workers and their families" should be sanctioned then we should try to apply those agreements in our real life.
